Countdown timers are a buzz right now, with marketers using them specifically in the e-commerce industry (Eg. countdown to Sales Day). While simple, it drives subscribers to take action.
To use this countdown timer feature, copy and paste the tag from the "Available tags" link. It gives an example of creating a countdown time by specifying the attributes. Copy the tag in your email template, and the countdown will be ready with default options.

Options

until: Date string ('Y-m-d H:i:s') or expression ('+3 days'). Max 14 days; longer periods default to 14 days. Past dates show 00:00:00:00. Uses UTC time zone.

size: 'medium'(400x100px),'small'(240x65px),'large'(800x200px). Default: medium.

text-color: Hex color without'#'(e.g.,'000000').

background-color: Same as text-color.

show-circle: 'yes' or 'no'. Displays time depletion circle around counter.

circle-background-color: Same as text-color.

circle-foreground-color: Same as text-color.

max-frames: 60-180 range. Defines animated gif's maximum frames.

show-text-label: 'yes' or 'no'. Displays labels for days/hours/minutes/seconds.
