Email engagement increases substantially based on the date/time it is sent. Research has shown that the highest opens and clicks occur at noon (1 pm-2 pm). This shows how getting the send-out time right is crucial for getting the highest ROI on your email campaign. Deploia's time warp feature allows you to do just that.
Timewarp is an advanced scheduling feature that allows you to send campaigns at a specific local time for each subscriber, regardless of their time zone. Here's how it works:
-
When enabled, the system will deliver your campaign at the specified hour and minute in each subscriber's local time zone. The subscriber's time zone is determined using their IP address.
-
For IP addresses where the time zone cannot be detected, the system defaults to UTC (Coordinated Universal Time). This feature ensures that all subscribers receive your campaign at the intended time, such as "9:00 AM local time" for everyone, rather than all at once based on a single time zone.
Benefits of using time warp
-
Improved email open and click rates by delivering at optimal times for each subscriber
-
Consistent campaign timing across global audiences
-
Better alignment with subscribers' daily routines and habits
Steps
-
Follow the same steps as you would to "set up an email campaign"
-
On the last step of the process (Step #4 - Confirmation)
-
Navigate to the dropdown next to the title "Enable timewarp" and choose "Yes"
-
Set the "Timewarp hour" and "Timewarp minute" (Eg. 13 and 00 for 1 PM)
5.Click on the "Save changes and..." button, and the system will send it to the subscriber's time zone at 1 PM
Options
-
Enable timewarp - Option to activate the timewarp feature for the campaign - Options: Yes, No
-
Timewarp hour - The hour at which the campaign should be delivered in each subscriber's local time zone - Range: 00-23
-
Timewarp minute - The minute within the chosen hour for campaign delivery - Range: 00-59
Note that enabling Timewarp may result in your campaign being sent over a 24-hour period to account for all time zones. Consider this when planning time-sensitive content or promotions.
