I've had this burst of creative energy recently, and the productivity bug hit me! So, I decided to dust off my old blog and start pumping out some content.
I've realized that I should diversify my content sources beyond blogging. I've decided to start a newsletter, but I'm currently confused between Substack and Beehiiv.
Both seem like great options, so please help me choose which one's better.
Here are my requirements
-
I'm planning to send a newsletter once a week. It's going to be free for the foreseeable future, but I would like to monetize it later.
-
Ease of use and engagement from my subscribers is important to me. I mainly see myself as a writer and want to receive feedback on my newsletters.
-
My blog is hosted on WordPress. Would it be advisable to use native WordPress features or find a plugin for it? Do either of these two platforms connect with WordPress?
Or am I approaching this in a completely wrong way? What are your thoughts on it?
